ELECTION & REGISTRATION SUPERVISOR
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Some college courses in Computer Science or related field; or previous experience and/or training involving personal computer software, personal computer installation, and personal computer operations; supplemented with two (2) years’ experience in a related area; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities of this job. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Driver’s License. Must be certified by the Secretary of State
Responsibilities & Job Duties: The purpose of this classification is to perform administrative, election technician and voter Registration duties Responsibilities incl. coordinating and participating in voter registration programs, Processing applications, assisting in absentee voting operations, pre/post-Election Day activities and providing lead direction to assigned staff as required.\ Maintains a complete and accurate record of all eligible voters in the County; ensures Each person votes in the correct precinct and for their correct representative; prior to all elections Processes voter registration applications. Receives applications and verifies the data such as name, address, date of birth, driver’s license, social security number, date, signature; enters data into the Georgia Voter Registration system processes name and address changes for existing voters; identifies problems with applications and make appropriate notations; send notifications to impacted voters, participating in scanning of registration signatures and establishes scanning schedules; follows necessary process to assign registration numbers, stamp, bundle/batch, log and process. Leads and coordinates daily work activities of assigned poll workers; organizes tasks in to complete assigned work, monitors status of work in progress and provides technical expertise; trains and instructs poll workers regarding operational procedure and proper use of the equipment. To maintain and perform mandated testing on voting equipment; manages voting system

Physical Ability: Physical Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of up to 50 pounds. Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation
Sensory Requirements: Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate colors or shades of colors, sounds, odor, depth, texture, and visual cues or signals. Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally.
